Ventura Wild

Description: Join us for a 2-hour, hands-on program celebrating the California Black Walnut, an endemic tree unique to Southern California. We’ll explore traditional uses from food to tools and art. We'll harvest and taste the nuts while making crafts such as natural pigment, rattles, and buttons. Participants will leave with handmade creations and a deeper connection to this remarkable local tree.
